The success of a major event depends on how it is managed and controlled and on the quality of its security. That is why XL-ID Solutions created UniGEA, an application so flexible and adaptable it can meet any needs.

UniGEA has been proven effective at several major international events. More than just an application, it is a user-friendly tool that helps organizers gather basic data— photos, transportation, lodging, home addresses, etc. — about all the participants in an event, everyone from the suppliers to the delegates, the journalists and heads of state. All of this information is centralized in one database, which ensures better management in times of crisis.

UniGEA makes it possible to manage accreditation, transportation, accommodation, security, activities, logistics and media centres, whether from a central base or a secondary satellite station.

UniGEA is specifically designed to:

  • provide access to all the information about each participant, in real-time, from a main interface (activity, site, vehicle, transport, hotel, etc.);
  • obtain data by category or individuals (e.g., by media outlet or staff member);
  • exchange information securely;
  • manage access by password and by hierarchical levels (consulting, adding/modifying and deleting);
  • design and print security accreditation badges (several models available) to identify and control people’s access rights;
  • use safe printing techniques to make badges (ultra-violet print, barcodes, complex design, etc.);
  • incorporate specific data such as digital fingerprints encoded in 2D barcodes on badges (which can be read by handheld devices— PalmTM);
  • create reports that make it easier to control and manage the event as it happens;
  • be customized by the user (interface, language).

In UniGEA, XL-ID Solutions offers more than an application, we offer our expertise. We can:

  • assist security officials and contribute to the success of any major event;
  • configure UniGEA to meet the most demanding requirements of logistical control, security and accreditation;
  • supply and configure peripheral devices (computers, printers, 1D and 2D barcode readers, digital fingerprint readers, ultra-violet flashlights, etc.);
  • handle data processing and the entire production of badges and lanyards;
  • provide personnel who have experience in accreditation and identification to work on-site throughout the entire event.
